Flights Most of our clients prefer the flexibility of arranging their own flights or are expats already living in Spain. We therefore do not hold an ATOL license to sell flights but can research options for you if you contact us. Any other part of your holiday that is booked with Ski Inspired will be protected with our ABTOT bond. If you book the flight, we'll take care of the rest!

The nearest airports are Toulouse (104 miles, 2 hour drive), Lourdes (54 miles, 1 hour 45 min drive), Barcelona (195 miles, 4 hour drive). Budget airlines fly to all 3 airports as well as scheduled airlines.

Airport transfer Our standard airport transfers are from Toulouse and cost £50 per person for a return trip.

Please note these prices are only for clients who are booking a holiday package with us. If you cannot make our standard transfer times then private transfers are available - hire a minibus for £125 one-way.

Private transfer to Baqueira If you cannot make a standard transfer time, private transfers are available from the airports listed below. The cost is for the minibus, not per passenger. A private transfer from Toulouse to Baqueira costs £125 between all passengers on the bus (e.g. £25 each if there are 5 customers). There is limited availability at these prices - local taxi rates may apply (add 50% eg 1 way to Toulouse to Baqueira £187.50) - please contact us for details. For groups of more than 8 or special requirements please contact us for a quotation.

Car / Ferry Baqueira is approximately 700 miles (12hrs drive) from Calais. There are several ferry operators to cross the channel with such as P O Ferries, Sea France and Norfolk Line. You could also look at Eurotunnel and Hoverspeed. In France, it is advisable to follow the main autoroutes. Although you have to pay tolls it will save a lot of time and is more direct. From Calais the main route goes via Paris, Orleans, Limoges, Toulouse and Montrejeau. From there, take the N-125 and N-230 to Vielha, from where the C-142 goes to resort.

Train Travelling by train is easier than it first seems. The nearest train station to Baqueira is Montrejeau in France (about 1 hour 15 min drive). The train journey would take approx 12 hours from London to Montrejeau. Try looking at sites such as SNCF & Rail Europe. If you require us to pick you up from a train station then please contact us for a price. Alternatively you can take the train from London to Barcelona (Rail Europe) and then take a bus to Vielha, the nearest big town to Baqueira.

Bus from Barcelona As mentioned above, it is possible to take a bus from the centre of Barcelona to Vielha, the biggest town in the Val D'Aran. Buses run twice daily, costing €40 for a single trip. The timetable can be found on the ALSA website.
