Formigal has had massive investment in recent years developing some superb runs and new lifts. Formigal consists of one town with plenty of bars and restaurants with a warm family atmosphere.

Lots of thought has gone into the planning of the slopes and there are several freeride areas, a rat track, great beginner areas and bar Igloo or Tepee for refreshments!

Baqueira is the King's choice of ski resort and the Spanish royalty are often seen on the slopes. There is some fantastic cuisine in authentic tapas bars and restaurants dotted around the valley and a unique charm to the valley of Aran.

Baqueira has a great variety of terrain: 2 beginner areas, plenty of wide "cruisey" blues and reds, and some fantastic off-piste opportunities for the more advanced.
